Very disappointed...beware of the risk of being scammed...Overpriced crepe (did not match the menu description), dessert charged twice...

A truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. The savory buckwheat crepes were delicious and perfectly made, as was the simple yet exquisite butter and sugar crepe. The service was particularly pleasant: the waitress was incredibly kind, smiling, and attentive throughout the entire meal. A place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday; it was one of the few open for lunch. Of all the options available, we had no hesitation in choosing this very charming restaurant in the center of Chambery. The food was excellent, and the waitress was also friendly. I particularly enjoyed the dessert option; it was spectacular! The flavored wine was also very good, and I was also inspired by the mead, which we'll definitely try next time.

You have to make an appointment to get a crêpe. I was turned away three times even though they were open 👏👏👏 and the fourth time, with the same nonchalance, I finally got a dry crêpe with very little filling, all for a hefty price 👏👏👏 Rue Croix d'Or deserves a better, more affordable, and helpful crêpe maker.
