The owner was very accommodating and friendly. The cottage was very close to everything and spacious. The meals were very good. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Fantastic gîte, which we rented for a stag do. Ideal location, close to Chambéry yet giving the feeling of being far from everything. The rooms are comfortable and the croziflette is delicious. We'll be back!

A unique place with a breathtaking view, a warm and bright atmosphere, and a variety of small dishes carefully prepared by Émilie using local products and served by Vincent and the whole team. A true delight for the taste buds, perfectly spiced, with a delicate and refined touch. And what can I say about the desserts...don't arrive late if you want to try everything! We fell in love with this place 10 years ago, when our children were very young, and the place, full of books and games, with a cozy corner for young and old, allowed us to ski in peace, taking turns. And now, we still come whenever we can; some days, in fact, lunch at Émilie and Vincent's becomes our main motivation for going skiing! 😁 Plus, this year we've been spoiled with excellent snow conditions, even in early March!

So cute! Very nice interior. Books, a reading corner, games, and especially a foosball table! Cozy atmosphere with pleasant, not-too-loud music, a wooden chalet decor, and green plants. The staff is super friendly! We highly recommend it!

Our wedding at L'Escale du Désert... what more can I say except PERFECT! The venue is magnificent and speaks for itself. But what truly made it special was the generosity of Émilie and Vincent. Their exemplary professionalism combined with their touching simplicity shines through in everything they do! And the food was just as wonderful: everyone, without exception, loved it. They were incredibly pleasant, always smiling, available, flexible, and adapted to any situation. They were also very attentive to my budget and found solutions for everything. These exceptional people make this an exceptional place where you feel completely at ease. The gîte (holiday cottage) is also perfect. They even gave us contacts for some other vendors. We discovered this place by chance while looking for a venue for our wedding. We weren't disappointed; the location offers a beautiful view. Emilie, the manager, gave us a very warm welcome and was incredibly helpful in organizing our wedding, whether it was guiding us in choosing the menu and the drinks reception, or connecting us with top-notch vendors. On the big day, everything went wonderfully. The drinks reception and the main course were delicious, and all the guests greatly appreciated Emilie's cooking, which also had the excellent idea of ​​using only local and seasonal products. In short, everything was perfect. A huge thank you to Emilie and her team for their support throughout our wedding. I highly recommend it! As an added bonus, the guesthouse across from the restaurant allowed us to celebrate in peace without having to drive!

We booked the gîte and restaurant for our wedding because we love the scenery. The view is magnificent, it's a complete change of scenery, it was the perfect place for our wedding. From the very beginning, Émilie and Vincent perfectly understood our expectations. They supported and advised us (babysitters, DJ), which was a huge plus because we delegated many things to them, allowing us to enjoy our wedding without stress. The buffet was magnificent, excellent, and original. All of this was done using local products. Everyone loved it and praised the chef (Émilie). The same goes for the meal and the brunch the following day. As for the gîte, it is perfectly equipped, very clean, spacious, and opposite the venue. A large cottage for a family weekend and a restaurant right next door, all in a magnificent setting

For our first trek through the Chartreuse mountains, we simply wanted to find a place to sleep, and we found a magical spot: wonderful staff, excellent and inexpensive meals, and we were able to enjoy a perfect location for camping. We will never forget the warm welcome.
