Snack le Farou

Snack: We ate very well and received a very warm welcome. The hamburgers are of very good quality, made with homemade ingredients.

Great atmosphere, fantastic view, friendly waiters and waitresses, very quiet, they accept dogs (very rare around the lake) and have a good selection of rentals. The prices are very reasonable, the ice cream is delicious, and the sun loungers are comfortable. I highly recommend it! 👍

It's late summer. We got off the highway around noon to eat by the lake. The view was lovely when we arrived at the snack bar, but when we asked what we could eat... the owner told us they only had fries left for €5. So we left empty-handed and frustrated. A snack bar with only fries? Unbelievable!

Top-notch snack bar! The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the value for money is unbeatable. But above all, the staff is incredible: always smiling, welcoming, and attentive. It's truly a pleasure; I recommend it 100%!

A very pleasant place; as a regular, I can say it's great for grabbing a bite without having to pay for the beach, and for quick, quality food. The price-quality ratio is perfect 🤩 and a bonus for the super welcoming and funny staff :)

The sandwich shop at Farou is excellent. The burgers are delicious, the paninis tasty, and the waffles homemade; all accompanied by friendly and courteous service. I highly recommend it.

A really lovely little spot, it doesn't look like much at first glance, but the welcome was fantastic, and the value for money is excellent! The staff are very friendly. Plenty of space to sit and eat. You can also rent equipment for water sports. The setting is superb, nestled among the trees with direct access to the beach. We'll definitely be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A hidden gem on the shores of Lake Aiguebelette! Le Farou snack bar is a true discovery. Aurélien, the owner, is an exceptionally generous person, and this is evident in both his food and his warm welcome. His burgers are definitely among the best I've ever had: soft buns, flavorful meat, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. All this in an idyllic setting, a haven of peace by the lake, with the added bonus of paddleboard rentals to extend your relaxation. And what about the value for money? A burger, fries, and a drink for under €20: unbeatable! It's surprising that a place like this isn't already in every guidebook. It truly deserves to be recognized as one of the best spots in the region.
